Adrienne Morgan is the Interim VP of Equity & Inclusion at the University of Rochester. Adrienne has over 25 years of experience working in the field of diversity and inclusion. Prior to their current role, they served as the Co-Director of The Center for Advocacy, Community Health, Education and Diversity at the University of Rochester. In this role, they were responsible for increasing the number of physicians with diverse backgrounds and those committed to improving the health status of diverse patient populations.
Before their work at the University of Rochester, Morgan worked as a researcher and writer for The Winters Group, Inc. and as a community education coordinator and community relations coordinator for ViaHealth / Rochester General Hospital. In these roles, they developed relationships with community members and organizations to create educational programming that addressed the needs of the community.
Morgan is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in all aspects of life. Adrienne is dedicated to their work in creating more inclusive environments where everyone can thrive.
Adrienne Morgan has a Ph.D. in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from The University of Rochester Warner School of Education, a Master’s Degree in Cross-Disciplinary Professional Studies, Marketing, HR, and Health Systems Administration from Rochester Institute of Technology, a Graduate Certificate in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Wisconsin-Madison.
