Derek Swanson

Derek Swanson, MBA, currently serves as the Executive Director of Advancement for the Hajim School of Engineering & Applied Sciences at the University of Rochester, a position held since May 2015, following roles as Director and Associate Director of Advancement. Prior to this, Derek Swanson gained experience with the Rochester Red Wings, advancing from Intern to Account Executive and ultimately serving as Assistant Director of Group Sales from January 2010 to May 2015. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Rochester - Simon Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management with a focus on Marketing from St. John Fisher University, complemented by a study experience at Richmond, The American International University in London.
