Robert Busch

Senior Lecturer at University of Roehampton

Robert Busch is a Senior Lecturer in biomedical sciences at the University of Roehampton since September 2013. Previously, Robert served as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge, focusing on immune dysfunction and autoimmune diseases from September 2006 to August 2013, while holding an honorary affiliation with the Department of Medicine. Robert's career also includes leadership as Director of Immunology Research at KineMed, Inc., where development and validation of platform technologies for immune applications took place from December 2002 to August 2006. Additionally, Robert worked as a Life Sciences Research Associate at Stanford University, investigating peptide binding mechanisms related to antigen recognition from 2000 to 2002. Early research experience was gained at the German Cancer Research Center from 1990 to 1995. Robert earned a PhD in Biochemistry from Birkbeck, University of London and a BSc in Chemistry and Biochemistry from Bangor University.
