Luke Hesler is currently the Marketing Communications Coordinator at the University of Saint Mary. Prior to this, they worked as a Graphic Designer for Lifetouch and as a Learning Center Manager for College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors.
Luke has always had a passion for creative design and marketing communications. Luke discovered their talent for graphic design while working on yearbook covers and end sheets for schools across the United States as part of Lifetouch's in-house creative services team. Luke also helped pilot the company's internal design on demand program by helping process design submissions ranging from flyers and posters to large format banners and school branding materials.
Before their career in graphic design, Luke was a Learning Center Manager for College Nannies, Sitters and Tutors. In this role, they managed a team of ten to fifteen tutors who provided assistance to students of various ages. Academic needs included general school work, subject-specific emphasis, or test prep. Within their first year in the role, they grew the tutoring clientele a little over 50%, necessitating a move to a larger location. Luke also received a national award for tutoring growth their first year. Their pairing of tutors with students led to numerous ACT test score increases and several instances of improved class grades.
