Sharron Lucas

Sharron Lucas is the Director of Online Services at University of Saint Mary. Sharron has over eight years of experience in project management and administration in the higher education industry.

Sharron started their career as an Academic Administrator & Project Coordinator at Grantham University in January 2011. In this role, they were responsible for the successful implementation of curriculum in multiple Learning Management Systems and the execution of a Customer Relationship Management System.

In October 2017, Sharron took on the role of University Project Manager at LPF Services, a sister company to Grantham University. In this role, they contributed to client growth from 25% to 60%. Sharron also created a project plan for onboarding universities and ensured buy-in from key stakeholders. As project manager for the entire operation, Sharron was responsible for other project teams to ensure tasks and milestones were met for successful implementation of online programs. Sharron tracked resources to insure proper allocation to project team and communicated with all project stakeholders and team members ensuring team members knew priorities, schedules, and budget restraints. Sharron also worked with vendors to ensure product deliverables adhere to project schedule.

In December 2018, Sharron was promoted to Director of Online Services at University of Saint Mary. In this role, they are responsible for all organization operations and processes, working to improve quality, productivity and efficiency.

Sharron Lucas completed their Master of Business Administration - MBA at the University of Phoenix in the field of Business Administration. Sharron also holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Saint Mary in Sociology and an Associate's degree from Santa Ana College in Liberal Arts. Additionally, Sharron has a Project Management Graduate Certificate from the University of Arkansas Grantham and is certified by the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional.

Sharron Lucas reports to Diane Steele, President, Professor of Theology. Sharron Lucas works with Mauricio Rodriguez - Director of Facilities, Wendy Hildenbrand - Program Director & Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy, and Kate Fortunati - Assistant Professor, Director of Field Education.
