Charlie Purdon

Charlie Purdon is a seasoned rugby coach and educator with extensive experience in various coaching roles, including serving as the Legion Community Foundation Lead Coach for San Diego Legion since July 2022 and the Head Rugby Coach at the University of San Diego since September 2019. As a co-founder and director of PERRY BAKER RUGBY CAMPS, Charlie facilitates skill development for aspiring rugby players. Additionally, the author of the 'Rugby Simplified' book series, Charlie offers valuable resources for beginner coaches and players. Previous coaching roles include Head Coach for LA Giltinis U-18, Cathedral Catholic High School, and Head of Region at Rhinos Rugby Academy. Charlie Purdon's professional athletic experience includes playing for PRO RUGBY, complemented by educational credentials from the University of Cape Town and Nelson Mandela University.
