Stephanie Zaren Castro, MBA, CMP has over 10 years of experience in event management and partnerships. Stephanie started their career at Hotel Del Coronado, where they worked as a Catering Sales Coordinator and later progressed to the position of Catering Sales Manager. In 2011, they joined the University of San Diego and served as the Scheduling & Operations Coordinator in the Office of the Vice President of University Relations for four years. Stephanie then transitioned to the role of Assistant Director in the University Events and Partnerships department, and most recently, they have been promoted to the Director position. Stephanie holds an MBA degree and is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP).

Stephanie Zaren Castro earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of San Diego between 2017 and 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus in Marketing from the same university from 2002 to 2006. In addition, Stephanie has also acquired additional certifications such as the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) from the Events Industry Council in December 2017 and an Event Management Certificate from the University of San Diego in 2015. Stephanie has also completed the Pandemic On-Site Protocol Training from the Event Leadership Institute in an undisclosed year.
