Rafiki Cai

Rafiki Cai is an accomplished technology leader and educator currently serving as a Visiting Scholar in the Computer Science department at the University of San Francisco since August 2023. With a wealth of experience spanning over two decades, Rafiki has held various influential roles including Chief Technology Officer at Friends Of The Congo, Founding Partner at both Digital Capital and Digital Freedom Institute, and founder of Artificial Brilliance and Hack Like A Girl. Notably, Rafiki has contributed significantly to technology and education through initiatives that empower communities, develop innovative web applications, and integrate emerging technologies into learning environments. Educational qualifications include dual Master's degrees in Community Economic Development and Business Administration, as well as studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
