Jay White

Jay White is an accomplished academic leader and physicist currently serving as the Director of Science & Innovation at Talcott Mountain Science Center & Academy and a Visiting Scholar in Astronomy at Wesleyan University. With a diverse background spanning roles such as Executive Director at BART Charter Public School, Provost and Dean of the College at Southern Vermont College, and extensive experience in higher education administration, including positions at Washington & Jefferson College and Gettysburg College, Jay White has contributed significantly to the fields of physics and astronomy. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. and M.A. in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Indiana University Bloomington, along with a B.S. in Physics from Birmingham-Southern College.
