Shannon Burchard

Shannon Burchard is an experienced librarian with a diverse background in technical and access services within legal libraries. Since 2000, Shannon has served as the Head of Technical and Access Services at the University of San Francisco Law Library, overseeing acquisitions, cataloging, and the provision of technological support while managing staff and student employees. Additional roles include Head of Technical Services Librarian for the American Association of Law Libraries and Law Librarian at the San Francisco Law Library, where responsibilities included implementing the Innopac system. Earlier experience includes coordinating serials and acquisitions at the University of Delaware Library and serving in technical services at the University of San Francisco Law Library. Shannon holds a Master of Library and Information Science from San José State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of California, Riverside.
