Wajma Ataie

Wajma Ataie serves as an Adjunct Professor in the Counseling Psychology Graduate Program at the University of San Francisco since August 2021, alongside a role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Wajma Ataie Remote Mental Health Private Practice since June 2020. In addition, Wajma Ataie has been a Mental Health Specialist and Consultant for the Oakland Unified School District since December 2017, and previously worked as a Multilingual Mental Health Counselor and Consultant at Richmond Area Multi Services from August 2014 to July 2017. Prior experience includes serving as a Bilingual Case Manager at the YMCA from April 2010 to August 2014 and as a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee at Alameda County from August 2010 to July 2011. Wajma Ataie holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Cross Cultural Counseling from John F. Kennedy University, a Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of San Francisco.
