Yannet Interian

Yannet Interian is an accomplished academic and data science professional with extensive experience in both teaching and industry. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the University of San Francisco since January 2013, Yannet teaches courses in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Data Science, while also contributing as an adjunct professor in the Master's Analytics Program. Prior roles include Statistical Machine Learning Consultant and Visiting Professor at UC Berkeley, and Senior Data Scientist at NativeX, where Yannet developed innovative models for behavioral analysis in advertising and indoor positioning systems. Previous work at Google involved large-scale data analysis and user retention strategies across platforms such as Google+ and YouTube. Yannet holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Havana.
