Jason MacLean is an Adjunct Professor of Environmental Law at the University of Saskatchewan, where research and teaching concentrate on environmental law, regulatory theory, and the regulation of agricultural pesticides. Prior to this role, MacLean served as an Assistant Professor at both the College of Law and the School of Environment and Sustainability at the University of Saskatchewan, focusing on climate change law, sustainability policy, and transnational corporate accountability. Previous experience includes a position as an Assistant Professor at Lakehead University and an Associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP, specializing in litigation across banking, competition, and public law. Early legal experience includes serving as a Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada and an Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Law from the University of Alberta and a B.C.L. and LL.B. from McGill University.
