Julian Demkiw

Julian Demkiw currently serves as the University Secretary and Chief Governance Officer at the University of Saskatchewan, a position held since January 2013. In addition, Julian has held roles such as Senior Strategist for Institutional Initiatives and Chief of Staff in the Office of the President. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Planning and Administration at Legal Aid Saskatchewan from June 2006 to December 2012, and various positions at the University of Saskatchewan, including Student Financial Aid Officer and Development Officer. Julian holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration, a Master's certificate in Project Management, a Master's degree in Organizational Communication/Leadership, and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, all from the University of Saskatchewan.
