Lori Shockey

Lori Shockey, CFRE, serves as the Executive Director at the University of Saskatchewan since May 2017. Previously, Lori held the position of Assistant Dean, Advancement for the Faculty of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Alberta from August 2010 to May 2017, focusing on fundraising, alumni relations, and communications. With an extensive career at the University of Alberta from 1989 to 2010, Lori was a Senior Development Officer for the Faculty of Nursing, where management of major gift donors was a key responsibility, and also pioneered the Prospect Research function as the Manager of Advancement Research & Prospect Management. Early career experience includes the role of Assistant Office Manager at New York Life Insurance Company from 1986 to 1989. Lori's educational background includes studies at MacEwan University, Saskatoon Business College, and the University of Alberta in both the Faculty of Extension and the School of Business.
