Ninad Mehta

Ninad Mehta is an accomplished academic and microbiologist serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan since September 2021. Concurrently, Ninad Mehta works as a Clinical Microbiologist with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, a position held since August 2021. Prior experience includes completing a Clinical Microbiology Fellowship at ARUP Laboratories from July 2019 to June 2021 and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Alberta from March 2017 to June 2019. Ninad Mehta's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Virology from the University of Alberta (2010-2017), a Master of Science in Biology from Georgia State University (2008-2010), and a Master of Science in Microbiology from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (2006-2008), with an earlier Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Sardar Patel University (2003-2006).
