Osama Ahmed MD, MSc, FRCPC is a highly experienced medical oncologist and assistant professor actively involved in cancer care and education at the Saskatchewan Cancer Agency and the University of Saskatchewan since 2018. As the Provincial Disease Site Group Chair for Breast Malignancies, Osama has contributed significantly to the management of cancer diseases. Prior roles include membership on the Investigational New Drug Committee at the Canadian Cancer Trials Group and residency training in medical oncology and internal medicine at the University of Calgary and the University of Saskatchewan, respectively. Osama's academic credentials include a Master Trainer certification in Serious Illness Conversation from the BC Centre for Palliative Care and multiple Fellowship designations in medical oncology and internal medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, alongside a Master of Hematology and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Alexandria University.
