Derenzo Thomas

Derenzo Thomas, M.Ed., is an accomplished professional in higher education with significant experience in community engagement and student services. Currently serving as the Assistant Director for Community Engagement at the Leadership and Service Center at the University of South Carolina, Derenzo has previously held positions including Community Director at Wake Forest University and Residence Director at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Derenzo's early roles included Practicum Student in the Office of Inclusive Excellence and Graduate Assistant in the Office of Multicultural Affairs at Georgia Southern University. Derenzo holds a Master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Bethune-Cookman University.
