Gerald Byrne

Gerald Byrne currently serves as the Reporting and Strategic Data Manager at the University of South Carolina, a position held since March 2024, following experience as the Research and Planning Administrator and Statistician III - Data Visualization Analyst with the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce from July 2022 to February 2024. Previously, Gerald worked as a Statistical and Research Analyst III at the State Fiscal Accountability Authority and as the Institutional Participation Coordinator for Asia, Australia, and Africa at ITHAKA. Earlier roles include serving as a Legislative Aide to Senate Majority Leader John J. Flanagan and as a Legislative Session Assistant in the New York State Senate. Gerald is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration at the University of South Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in World History from the University at Albany.
