Guoqing Qian is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of South Carolina, with experience in conducting research on polybenzimidazole-based polymeric membranes for electrochemical hydrogen pumping applications. Responsibilities include training junior graduate students and maintaining analytical instruments. Qian has also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, focusing on the effects of gas impurities on fuel cell performance, and as a Consultant at Basf Fuel Cell, where novel composite systems were developed to enhance fuel cell durability.
