Marisa Adams

Marisa Adams serves as the Global Carolina Business Operations and Human Resources Director at the University of South Carolina, overseeing vital functions such as accounting, budgeting, personnel, and travel within the Global Carolina initiative. With a robust background in finance and administration, Marisa previously directed fiscal operations at the South Carolina Bar Foundation, managing a $3 million budget, and held managerial roles at Congaree Land Trust and Perfectly Pink Studio, where leadership and operational efficiency were emphasized. Additional experience includes administrative and program coordination with various organizations focused on community development, clean technology advocacy, and international education. Marisa holds an M.S. in Environmental Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a B.A. in Russian Language & Literature from the University of Maryland.
