Marki Jones

Marki Jones, Ed.D., currently serves as the Director of the Center for International Business Education and Research and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of South Carolina, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this role, Marki Jones spent over two decades at Loyola Marymount University, where responsibilities included serving as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Teaching and Learning, focusing on urban education, as well as directing the Center for International Business Education, where successful grant proposals were co-developed. Additionally, Marki Jones held the position of Assistant Director at the Center for Asian Business, overseeing international education administration. Experience also includes a brief tenure as a Community College Counselor for the Los Angeles Community College District in 2016. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Leadership from California Lutheran University, and both a Master of Arts in Educational Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Loyola Marymount University.
