Michael Potter

Michael Potter is an experienced professional in campus recreation and sport management, currently serving as the Associate Director of Campus Recreation at the University of South Carolina since October 2021. Prior to this role, Michael held positions at Virginia Commonwealth University as Coordinator of Sport Clubs & Youth Programming, and at Penn State University as Coordinator of Competitive Sports. Michael's career began at Ohio University as a Club Sports Graduate Assistant and Walter Fieldhouse Intern, followed by an internship at the University of Maryland focused on aquatics and risk management. Michael's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management from the University of Florida and a Master of Science in Recreation and Sport Sciences from Ohio University.
