Sean Yee

Sean Yee is an esteemed educator in the field of mathematics, currently serving as an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education at the University of South Carolina since 2014, where also holds the position of Co-Director for the Center for Science Education. Previously, Sean Yee was an Assistant Professor of Mathematics Education at California State University, Fullerton, from 2012 to 2014, focusing on math content courses for future teachers and Master's thesis courses. Prior experience includes teaching high school mathematics at Solon High School from 2006 to 2012, where Sean Yee also initiated an honors series for high school seniors. Sean Yee earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics Teacher Education from Kent State University and holds multiple degrees from The Ohio State University, including a Master of Education in Mathematics Education, a Master of Science in Mathematics with a focus on Complex Analysis, and a Bachelor of Science in Pure Mathematics.
