Shadya Sanders Davis, Ph.D., is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of South Carolina, with a strong background in atmospheric sciences and meteorology. Previously, Shadya served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the NOAA Cooperative Science Center for Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology and as a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Alliance for Education, Science, Engineering Design with Africa at Penn State University. Shadya also worked as a Science Writer and Data Analyst for Rose Li & Associates, Inc., and completed a Doctoral Candidate position at Howard University, where Shadya earned a Ph.D. in Atmospheric Sciences and Meteorology in December 2021, having completed a Bachelor’s degree at Howard University from 2011 to 2014.
