Shannon McCutchen

Shannon McCutchen is an experienced accounting educator and professional, currently serving as an Accounting Lecturer and IT Internship Director at the University of South Carolina since June 2011. In this capacity, Shannon teaches courses in Accounting I and Business Communications, acts as an Academic Advisor for the iIT Program, and oversees internship opportunities for students. Prior to this role, Shannon was an Adjunct Instructor at the same university from 2000 to 2011, specializing in Computer Applications for Business, Business Communications, and Accounting. Shannon's earlier professional experience includes working as an Associate Auditor at Fleet Mortgage Group from August 1995 to January 1997. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina, a Master of Arts in Business Teacher Education from the University of South Carolina, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Clemson University.
