Bob Remington

Bob Remington is a distinguished academic in the field of psychology with extensive experience spanning multiple institutions. Currently serving as a Visiting Professor of Psychology at Bournemouth University since October 2012, Bob provides academic consultancy in research and supports the BU Psychology team as a Research Consultant with grant writing, publication preparation, and career development. Additionally, Bob has been an Emeritus Professor of Psychology at the University of Southampton since December 2012, where role includes consultancy in scientific writing and academic management, following a notable tenure as Professor from 1975 to October 2012, which focused on behavior analysis, the psychology of creativity, and technical authorship. Earlier experience as a Research Fellow at the University of Manchester involved researching basic learning processes in children with profound intellectual disability. Academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Psychology from the University of Exeter, earned from 1965 to 1972.
