Karen Govier

Karen Govier currently serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for Lakelands Hospice since November 2023 and has held the position of Head of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion at Wincanton since August 2020. Previously, Karen contributed as a Non-Executive Director at Northampton Primary Academy Trust and held various leadership roles focusing on diversity and inclusion across multiple organizations, including the Office for National Statistics and The Go-Ahead Group plc. With extensive experience in HR management and diversity initiatives, Karen has also worked with MITIE, where responsibilities included leading Diversity Steering Groups and managing HR teams through significant projects. Karen's earlier career features technical sales positions at Rockwool Group and Bostik Limited. Karen holds degrees in business studies from Nottingham Trent University and Nottingham University Business School.
