Emma Dobson

Emma Dobson is an accomplished research professional with a robust background in clinical trials and research governance. Currently serving as the Research Governance & Quality Manager and Sponsorship Manager at the University of Southampton since June 2022, Emma has previously held significant roles at University Hospital Southampton NHS FT, including Clinical Trials Project Manager and Divisional Research Facilitator from May 2017 to June 2022. Emma's experience encompasses the oversight of research studies in various disease areas, alongside strong expertise in setting up Phase 1 and commercial research. Earlier career highlights include positions at Solent NHS Trust, Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust, and University of Oxford, complemented by a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Bath and an MSc in Psychological Research Methods from the University of Reading.
