Neil Ford

Neil Ford is a seasoned academic professional with extensive experience in higher education and library services. As a Principal Teaching Fellow in Academic Development and Education Development at the University of Southampton since January 2016, Neil has contributed to enhancing teaching and learning practices. Prior to this, Neil served as the Academic Liaison Development Manager at Bournemouth University, where responsibilities included managing library support, coordinating peer learning programs, and overseeing academic skills support. Additional roles at Bournemouth University included Subject Librarian, focusing on collection development and information literacy programs. Neil's career also includes experience as a Librarian at IBM, managing collection development and web services. Educational qualifications include a PG Cert in Educational Practice from Bournemouth University and an MSc. (Econ) in Information and Library Studies from Aberystwyth University.
