Sam Thompson

Sam Thompson is an accomplished academic in the field of Chemical Biology, currently serving as an Associate Professor and Lecturer at the University of Southampton since October 2016. Prior to this position, Sam Thompson held various roles at the University of Oxford, including Senior Research Assistant and Postdoctoral Research Assistant from March 2009 to September 2016. Additionally, Sam Thompson was a Junior Research Fellow at Pembroke College Oxford and Lady Margaret Hall, where responsibilities included college lecturing in Organic Chemistry. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Organic Chemistry from the University of Cambridge, awarded in 2008, and a Master of Chemistry (MChem) from the University of Oxford, completed in 2004.
