Amanda Ortland

Amanda Ortland currently serves as Principal at Ortland Beissel, a boutique architecture and design firm in Los Angeles, since April 2018. In addition to this role, Amanda is a Lecturer at the University of Southern California's School of Architecture, beginning in August 2021. Prior experience includes a significant tenure as an Architectural Designer at Ateliers Jean Nouvel from June 2005 to March 2018, where contributions included the design and implementation of the Guthrie Theater project. Earlier, Amanda worked as a Master Printer at Hank's Photographic Services, specializing in fine art silver gelatin printing and darkroom management. Amanda holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of Minnesota.
