Anesti Vega

Anesti Vega has extensive experience in aquatic leadership and safety, currently serving as the Scuba Council Chair for Diversity In Aquatics, focused on enhancing accessibility to scuba activities for vulnerable populations. Concurrently, Anesti holds positions as Assistant Dive Safety Officer and Laboratory Technician/Project Manager at the Florida Institute of Technology's Underwater Technology Laboratory. Previous roles include Executive Director and Director of Operations at U.S. Expeditions and Explorations, an NCAS Aerospace Scholar at NASA, and Digital Media Strategist at Maluco Studios, where project management and communication were key responsibilities. Additionally, Anesti served as Media Program Director at the Native American Health Center, overseeing strategic communication and collaboration initiatives. Anesti's foundational experience includes serving as an Intelligence Analyst and Infantryman in the US Army. Anesti holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Oceanography from the Florida Institute of Technology.
