Doris Sung serves as the Director of Undergraduate Programs at the University of Southern California's School of Architecture and holds the title of Associate Professor with tenure. Since 2001, Doris Sung has been the Principal at DOSU Studio Architecture, focusing on the use of smart materials for responsive architecture. Additionally, Doris Sung co-founded TBM-Designs in 2016, specializing in innovative energy-saving technologies such as the InVert™ smart self-shading windows. Previous academic positions include serving as Design Faculty at the Southern California Institute of Architecture from 2001 to 2006 and as an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado from 1997 to 2001. Doris Sung earned a Master of Architecture from Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Princeton University.
