Sayan Ghosh is currently a PhD student at the University of Southern California, specializing in Natural Language Processing since August 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Engineer at ASAPP from August 2021 to August 2022 and multiple roles at the University of Michigan, including Research Assistant under Professors David Jurgens and Joyce Chai, focusing on cross-lingual exchange on Twitter and multimodal algorithms for human-robot interactions, respectively. Sayan also contributed as a Mathematics Tutor, providing support in introductory calculus and linear algebra. In addition, Sayan co-founded HackBlue, which promotes computer science and engineering interest in underrepresented communities, and worked as an Assistant Arts Editor/World Music Columnist for The Michigan Daily. Earlier experience includes co-founding and acting as CTO of Elenytics, developing an indoor navigation system. Sayan holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan (2017-2021) and graduated from Mission San Jose High School (2013-2017).
