Stephan G. Erberich

Stephan G. Erberich, PhD, serves as the Chief Data Officer and Director of Data Science & AI at the University of Southern California, where also holds the position of Professor of Research Radiology. Erberich has previously worked in various leadership roles, including Director of Biomedical Informatics & Research IT and Director of Functional Imaging and Informatics at USC. Additionally, Erberich is the Founder and CEO/CTO of NexGenic, LLC, and Co-Founder and CEO/CTO of BIOMED INFORMATICS, LLC. With experience as Division Director of Medical Information Systems at the Information Sciences Institute, Erberich has made significant contributions to the field of biomedical engineering. Educational background includes a PhD in Computer Science from RWTH Aachen University, focused on machine learning and informatics, and a research fellowship in imaging informatics from the University of California, San Francisco.
