Julian Davis

Julian Davis is an Associate Professor of Engineering at the University of Southern Indiana since August 2010, with teaching expertise in courses such as Introduction to Engineering, Systems Engineering, Statics, Dynamics, and Finite Element Analysis. Prior to this role, Julian served as an Assistant Professor at the same institution and held positions as a Traveling Scientist at the University of Washington, focusing on the biomechanics of the plainfin midshipman, and as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Julian's research interests encompass Finite Element Modeling, Dynamics, Vibrations, Biomechanics, and Engineering Education, supported by a PhD in Engineering Mechanics from Virginia Tech. Julian also has previous experience as an instructor at New River Valley Community College.
