Dan O'Conner Peluso

Dan O'Conner Peluso, PhD, is an accomplished educator and researcher in astrophysics and STEAM education. Currently serving as a STEAM Teacher at Griffin Technology Academies, Dan combines innovative teaching with grant writing and curriculum development, focusing on interdisciplinary approaches that blend astronomy, data science, and music. As an Adjunct Research Fellow at the University of Southern Queensland and an Affiliate Researcher at the SETI Institute, Dan is involved in exoplanet research and citizen science initiatives, leveraging advanced data analysis techniques. Dan has extensive experience in teaching physics and astronomy at various educational levels, developing engaging curricula that emphasize real-world applications and hands-on learning.
