Harry Wendt

Harry Wendt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and digital roles within the banking and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at IMB Bank since July 2020 and an Adjunct Research Fellow at the University of Southern Queensland since January 2018, Harry has previously held significant positions such as Digital Director at StriveStronger, and Non Executive Director at Assembly Payments. Prior to these roles, Harry was General Manager of Digital at Westpac Group and held various senior management positions at Westpac and Westpac Institutional Bank, focusing on strategy, technology, and product management. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in the History of Radio Astronomy from James Cook University and a Master's degree in Astronomy from Western Sydney University, complemented by a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the University of Technology Sydney. Harry is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
