Harsha Perera

Harsha Perera is a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Southern Queensland and a Senior Research Scientist specializing in Psychometrics at Bezos Academy, both positions held since 2023. Previously, Harsha served as a Senior Research Scientist at Amazon from April 2022 to March 2023 and as a Professor of Educational Psychology at the University of Nevada-Las Vegas from August 2016 to April 2022. Earlier experience includes roles as an Assistant Professor at UNSW and the University of Southern Queensland, focusing on research, teaching, and service. Harsha holds a PhD in Educational Psychology from the University of Technology Sydney and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Sydney.
