John-Luke Harris is an accomplished musician and educator currently serving as an Associate Tutor of Trumpet at the University of St Andrews and a member of the Board of Directors for JAZZ SCOTLAND. With extensive experience at the University of Dundee as Director of Music, John-Luke directs multiple musical ensembles, including the Big Band and choirs. Additionally, John-Luke has provided certification support at MISTEV EXPORT HEALTH CERTIFICATION LIMITED and has worked as a freelance musician since 2012. Previous roles include Service Manager and Counsellor at Hope Counselling Dundee and involvement in sound and lighting technology for large-scale events. John-Luke holds a Master’s degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Abertay University and a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from the Royal Northern College of Music.
