April Douglas

April Douglas is an experienced physical therapist and educator with a diverse background in pelvic health and orthopedics. Currently serving as the Director of the Pregnancy and Postpartum Special Interest Group at the Academy of Pelvic Health Physical Therapy since January 2022, April also owns and operates My PT 2 Go, specializing in concierge physical therapy services across San Diego. With a robust teaching portfolio, April holds adjunct faculty positions at San Diego Mesa College and the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, focusing on subjects such as orthopedics and human movement. Previous experience includes service as a physical therapist for the US Navy and a physical therapist and consultant for various organizations. April earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and holds dual bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Kinesiology from San Diego State University.
