Dean McCann

Dean McCann is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and cloud solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since March 2008, Dean specializes in cloud architecture, identity management, and site reliability engineering (SRE). Previous roles within the company include Executive Director and Vice President, focusing on technical product ownership, cloud engineering, and DevOps automation. In addition to industry roles, Dean has been a Course Coordinator and Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde since August 2018, teaching Agile Software Engineering. Earlier career experiences include positions at the Student Loans Company and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, where Dean contributed as a Technical Consultant and Developer, respectively. Dean holds a BSc in Computer & Electronic Systems from the University of Strathclyde.
