Dr. Brian McMillan

Dr. Brian McMillan is an experienced academic and engineer with a notable career in both higher education and industry. Currently serving as Associate Dean (Academic) and Teaching Fellow at the University of Strathclyde since September 2014, Dr. McMillan has contributed significantly to the field of chemistry through various teaching and research roles, including a Post Doctoral Research Fellowship at the same institution. Prior to these positions, Dr. McMillan worked as a Senior Applications Engineer at Innovative Coating Technologies Ltd., where responsibilities included the development of advanced coating technologies, and as an Application Engineer at Thin Film Innovations Ltd. Educational achievements include a PgCert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education and an MSci PhD in Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde.
