Fan Lin

Fan Lin has extensive experience in education and engagement with China, currently serving as the Principal’s adviser on University Engagement with China at the University of Strathclyde since April 2012. Additional roles at the university include Regional Leader Coordinator (China) and Depute Director of the Confucius Institute for Scotland's Schools. Simultaneously, Fan Lin has been involved with the Scottish Qualifications Authority as Principal Assessor for Advanced Higher Chinese and Development Manager for Chinese languages. Previous academic appointments include Associate Tutor at the University of Edinburgh and roles as Moderator and Examiner for IGCSE and A-level at the University of Cambridge. Fan Lin's earlier position as General Manager of the Confucius Institute at Learning and Teaching Scotland further emphasizes a strong commitment to Chinese language education. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Management and Leadership in Education from the University of Strathclyde.
