Rafael Peña Alzola

Rafael Peña Alzola is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Strathclyde, having joined in June 2017, and previously served as a Lecturer and Research Fellow at the Roll-Royce University Technology Centre. Prior to this, Rafael held the position of Research Associate at Universidad de Alcalá in collaboration with Siemens Gamesa for a short-term contract in early 2017. Rafael's academic journey includes a Postdoctoral Fellowship at The University of British Columbia from 2013 to 2016 and a Guest Postdoc role at Aalborg University. Rafael holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia and an Industrial Engineering (Electrical) degree from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
