Professor Helen Driscoll

Professor Helen Driscoll currently serves as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) and has held multiple prestigious roles at the University of Sunderland since September 2006, including Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning & Teaching) and Academic Director for Educational Partnerships. As a Programme Leader for undergraduate programmes, Professor Driscoll's teaching focuses on evolutionary psychology, attraction and sexuality, dark personalities, and research methods. Previously, Professor Driscoll worked as a Senior Lecturer and Head of School of Psychology (Acting) at Northumbria University and served as a Lecturer specializing in research methods. Professor Driscoll completed a PhD in Evolutionary Psychology at Durham University, studying sex differences in aggression and intimate partner violence, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Newcastle University.
