Shafiq Ahmed

Shafiq Ahmed is a distinguished academic in the field of molecular biology and biochemistry, currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sunderland since February 2016. Prior to this role, Shafiq Ahmed held the position of Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of Glasgow from August 2011 to January 2016 and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of York from 2005 to 2011. Shafiq Ahmed obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Oncology and Cancer Biology from Newcastle University between 2001 and 2005, and completed a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at Queen Mary University of London from September 1998 to July 2001.
