Laura Cox

Laura Cox is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic communications, media relations, and marketing. Currently serving as a Strategic Communications Business Partner for the Faculty of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Surrey, Laura provides both internal and external communications support. Previous roles include freelance media team member for the same faculty, freelance writer and communications consultant, and marketing manager for the Guildford School of Acting. With a background as a Communications Business Partner at Tube Lines and Head of Media Relations, Laura has successfully managed corporate reputations and relationships with media, winning awards for effective communication strategies. Laura's educational foundation includes a BA Hons in American and Commonwealth Arts from the University of Exeter.
