Simba Mlambo

Simba Mlambo is currently serving as a Student Recruitment Officer at the University of Surrey since January 2024. Prior to this role, Simba held various positions at the Academy of Contemporary Music from July 2016 to January 2024, including Student Recruitment Events and Outreach Manager, where responsibilities included managing and executing events to enhance student acquisition strategies and represent educational pathways effectively. Simba also served as the Applicant Experience, Events and Outreach Coordinator, contributing to the development of recruitment events. Earlier experience includes serving as the Schools Liaison Officer and Student Events and Activities Coordinator at Farnborough College of Technology from September 2011 to June 2016, focusing on maximizing recruitment and managing social events. Additionally, Simba has freelance experience in film and television media production from 2009 to 2014. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Media Production from Farnborough College of Technology and A Levels in Media Studies, Art & Design, and Graphic Design from HSDC Alton.
